Well I figured I better get another post on here before the month ran out.

We had an awesome Memorial Day weekend. We planned a fishing/camping trip with Garrett and Lindsey so I had the site ready to go. I had to work on Saturday so we weren't going to be able to make it up there until late Saturday night right around dark.

While standing in the clock-out line at work my cell phone rang. It was Garrett calling to tell me that somebody was at our campsite. Not wanting to be a dick and make them move there already setup camp, I decided we would stay at another site that hadn't been cleared or used in many moons. I arrived up there at 8:30 and we got to work on clearing the area of chest high itchweed and poison ivy. By 9:30 we had it cleared, tents up, fire roaring, and dinner on. It is amazing how much work 4 people can get done when working together. The we stayed until about noon on Monday and headed home. We had a blast, I caught several smallmouth bass and Garrett managed to pull the only catfish in the weighed in right around 20 lbs. Daniel was good most of the weekend and enjoyed playing in the water and watching all the canoeist's go by.

My old hard drive went out on me for good last week. Thankfully right before it happened, my grandpa gave me a new 500GB Seagate External. 2 days after getting everything backed up onto it my internal Western Digital went out. I believe the controller board on it is what went, I don't know if I will be able to salvage it by replacing the board or if that is even possible. I bought a 500GB SATA Seagate and dropped it in before the weekend trip, so now I have a total of 1.08 TB's with my video editing, that should last me until the end of deer season this year. Well better head to bed.

Turkeys, Mushroom, Logs and Fish

,,,

Well Turkey season has came and past, I had alot of close frustrating calls this season but no bird in the freezer. Coyotes, Dogs, Wind, and Rain were all challenges I had to get past this year and couldn't seem to get past the coyotes. Everytime I would have a turkey coming in strong a coyote would appear out of nowhere and chase it off.  Maybe the coyote gods cursed me, but whatever happened sure made for a tough season.  Along with turkey season every year comes the morels.  I alone picked a few, probably close to 10 pounds worth and I searched for a total of around 2 hours.  Most of my mushrooms I wasn't even searching for em.  I have been helping my family remove some nice hardwood logs out of the woods and I would always stumble upon a handful here and there.  My brother Andy however picked more towards 20 pounds worth and mostly all big yellows.

With the passing of Turkeys and the morels leaving here shortly that means that it is time to really start fishing.  I have been out a few times already this year but haven't been going at it hard.  The creek water will soon be warm enough to wade and I will be chasing trophy smallmouth bass in the day and catfish at night.

Well thats all for today, figured I better update this before it got past being a month.

Kris, since I know you are most likely my only vistor to this site this post is for you...... :)

I appreciated the phone call tonight and really miss hanging out with you.

Daniel just celebrated his 2nd birthday this past monday. He is the definition of "Terrible Two's" Everyday he is talking back and throwing fits when he don't get his way. Gotta Love it, the lil guy is just too cute it is hard to be strict and punish him for his behavior but we all know it has to happen. Still working at Bemis, narrowly avoided a huge layoff and my job outlook isn't looking to great for the next couple years. This has me actively searching all other alternatives. The only problem with that is there is NOTHING around here. I did get a lead at a local metal shop needing a geek, and I have some hookups in there so Tuesday I will be printing out my resume and walking it over. That is right it is within walking distance of my house that is SWEET!!!

I still work on the Indiana Predator Challenge and Midwest Predator Hunters sites and strongly urge you to visit the forums. That is if you are still a gun buff. Still posting videos on YouTube as well even though they all pretty much suck it is fun for me to do and I enjoy learning the editing programs. Also still play counter-strike on occasion, maybe twice a month for an hour or two. Not as heavily into it as I use to be but still enjoy the fun. Well it is time to put Daniel to bed. I will seriously try and keep this updated for you. Pretty sad when I had to go to your site to even find the address to it......

Alright do you think it has been awhile since I have posted. Yeah me too. Not alot going on, Daniel is growing up fast and I am still working so I guess you could say everything is just fine. I have made a couple more videos this year which can be found at http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=jfrye9319

Kristin, Daniel, and I just got home from a wonderful trip to St. Louis with some friends. We visited the zoo, which was an alright zoo, they could really improve some of the habitats though. Later that night, we visited the landing and ate at a nice restraunt with street side tables. The next day we visited the Science Center and headed home. The whole trip cost very little and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting time away from the norm. Here are some pictures in my album.

Wow it has once again been awhile since I posted. Not a whole lot has been going on, Daniel is getting big and starting to say more than one word at a time. He has still yet to take more than 3 steps on his own though. He will grab your hand and walk you where he wants to go, but he will not go by his self.

Bemis has once again put the shaft to its workers. It first started with moving 26 Extrusion operators out of the department and demoting them to asst. operator in another department. That doesn't sound like a big deal but when you are talking a $5 pay cut and all of us have new houses, vehicles, and kids. It becomes a big deal. Today I arrive at work to find a picket line. Again another sexual harassment that the company will not do anything about. To get back at the picketers, the company decided to make up some rules on breaks and stuck it to us. No big deal, but kind of rude. At least 30 people went home early today to stick it to the company. There must of been 10 lines down because of it. Word also got out to the streets, because half of night shift also called in. I for one am stuck there until I find something better. I can't just leave like I would like to because of Daniel. He needs my medical insurance and this roof over his head. So to make ends meet, I am going to work 24 hours of overtime this week and probably next week also. My web designs haven't picked up yet, and I am really hoping to get some paying customers some time soon. My designs aren't 100% new and creative, but they are cheap and nice. My latest is at http://www.indianapredatorchallenge.com Jason, the owner, and I try to keep that site fresh and with each passing challenge the site will grow. The first year for that site was basic HTML. The next I added some Image Maps and kept it simple. Well this years is my first venture into CSS. A completely new script for me, but something I have to learn to try and keep up with the technology. Next years I hope to make a site completely out of flash but that will probably turn out to be 1 million times harder than I already know it is.

Google, the owners of this blog site and several other services I love to use has created a Picasa Web Album. I already use photobucket, and I believe that there is a link on here somewhere for that, but it is full of 1000's of pics. I am going to try to keep my Picasa Web Album clear of the clutter that photobucket has and only show the good pics. You can visit it at http://picasaweb.google.com/HandyPC

Thats all for today, have a nice day, week, month, and year.

I have been enjoying the wonders of videography lately. Here are some of my clips.

Here is the first video edit I have ever posted to the net. It was for a family friend who was over if Afghanistan at the time. He was unable to be at deer camp so I captured alot of the action for him.

A short video of Daniel and some of his 2006 highlights.

My Dad and Brother went on a bike ride down in TN. Here is there video broken into 2 parts.

This is my first edit from my new used DCR-TRV900.
